UD San Pedro Too Strong In Second Half For Atlético Andalucia CF13th August, 2010

Atlético Andalucía CF continued their busy pre season fixtures when they against UD San Pedro who play 2 divisions higher than Atlético. San Pedro narrowly missed out on promotion last season and are looking for another promotion push this season with strong squad.

The game kick off at 8:30pm at Estadio municipal de San Pedro de Alcantara with UD San Pedro looking the stronger side.

After 15 minutes Atlético Andalucia started to pick up their own momentum with several chances and good defensive play.

San Pedro would finally get on the score sheet from a corner on the 40 minutes mark. At half time Coach Share changed his midfield and forwards with tomorrows game in mind against Estepona.

Two quick goals on 55th and 60th minutes would make the score 3-0 to San Pedro with the second goal being a superb free kick.

Atlético Andalucia did not create many chances in the second half and with the team looking to push forward San Pedro would add another two quick goals at the end of the game to make the score a flattering 5-0 for the home team.

Atlético Andalucia CF´s coach Share said "I am dissapointed the first half we worked so hard and we deserved to be level at least. We conceded the corner with a bad mistake and sadly we switched off for the corner. It seems that most goals we have conceded in pre season were our mistakes and we need to cut them out of our play. The second goal was an unstoppable free kick and with our players being pushed forward looking to get on the score sheet we were vulnerable. We need to work on our movement on and off the ball as this is our biggest problem. I think some players had their minds on tomorrows game but we can not go and play with this mentality as we need to improve fast"

The club will now face Estepona on Saturday at the Francisco Munoz Perez Stadium. The game will be a 6pm kick off as Coach Share looks to prepare his team for the 2010-2011 season.
