Spanish Forward Robby Davey Joins Atlético Andalucía CF23 November, 2009
Atlético Andalucía CF is pleased to announce that the club have signed Spanish forward Robby Davey for the upcoming season.
Robby Davey is Mike Share's second signing since Daniel Waymont. Davey a young attacking player has known Share since 2005 as they were both at Spanish club San Pedro.
Share spoke highly of his new signing "I know Robby very well as we were both at San Pedro four years ago. Robby was only 17 at the time and although we only played once together in a friendly game at the end of the season I straight away could see that he was a very capable player and I am delight that Robby has chosen to join us".
Share went on to say "I have very high hopes for Robby especially with age being on his side. Robby is a very fast player as well as being a strong physical player, he can play either as a forward or on both flanks of the midfield which is a plus for any coach to have, he is capable of playing at a higher level and hopefully with hard work I can help him achieve his aspirations".
Davey only 21 years old is a versatile player and has previously played for Malaga C.F. youth team. His senior career consists of playing for San Pedro and CES Nueva Andalucia.
Share added "I expects more signings over the next few weeks and hopefully next weekend we will be able to complete and announce a few more targets that I have. I am sure that we will have a very strong team for the upcoming season and I look forward to add to the quality we already have at the club".
