Cunningham Joins Atlético Andalucía CF For The Upcoming Season12 April, 2010

Atlético Andalucía CF is pleased to announce that the club will be joined by Welsh forward Grant Cunningham for the upcoming season as the squad starts to take shape.

Welsh prolific forward Grant Cunningham joins the club with an impressive record, the forward has scored 49 goals in the last two season and will be looking to continue his goal scoring record in Spanish League Football with Atlético.

Grant Cunningham Started his career at Llanishen Dons/Lisvane. Cunningham won his first honours at the club by picking up a medal as the club won the Britain’s St Johns Cup Short which included English teams Chester, Hereford, Doncaster FC and Carlisle.

In 2006 Cunningham signed for the Cardiff Corinthians F.C. from the Welsh Premier League. While at Cardiff Corinthians F.C. Cunningham won The Welsh Principality B Cup for two consecutive years. Grant was then loaned out by the club to fellow Welsh club Merthyr Tydfil.

Cunningham has also had spells with Welsh Giants TNS who played Liverpool in the Champions League qualifying round and Manchester City in the UEFA Cup. He competed for TNS in the Minute Maid Cup.

Cunningham commented on his move to Spanish football "I am extremely excited to play for the club, I cannot wait for the new season to begin and the new challenge that lies ahead of me".

Coach Share was pleased with the latest additions to the squad and spoke highly of Cunningham "I am pleased Grant will join the club, I know he will do well at the club and progress, I feel that the club will be a good stepping stone for him and that it won´t be long before he plays at a big club".
