Atlético Error Gifts Dutch Team V.V.De Weide A 3-2 Friendly Win16th January, 2011

Atlético Andalucía CF returned to action for the first time in the new year this Saturday against Dutch side V.V.De Weide in a friendly. The game was played at the Estadio Teruel Aguilar.

The home side started the game best but early signs from both teams were very encouraging as the game looked to be very entertaining.

Coach Share said prior to the game "You know that when you face a Dutch team that it will be a good attacking game. Most if not all Dutch teams play the ball on the floor and we try to do the same. The game will be interesting with both teams set out to play attacking football".

Atletico would score first in an evenly matched first half. Their would be two more goals one for each side as the end of the 1st half approached. The 1st half would end 2-1 to Atletico.

The second half was played in the same tempo and style as the 1st but Atletico´s joy was short lived as two indivual errors would gift the Dutch side V.V.De Weide a 3-2 win over Atletico.

The club will face another Dutch side in friendly on the 29th of January against Dutch Third Division team (Tercera) SCN Nieuwlande. More information will be available regarding the games time and location. Please be sure to check back next week for more information.
