Mander Named As The New Atlético Andalucía CF General Manager14 October, 2009
Atlético Andalucía CF is pleased to announce the hiring of Craig Mander as the club’s General Manager.

Craig Mander, a native of the UK, is currently the Academy Director of AFA Marbella in Spain and will also be part of the 1st team coaching staff as assistant manager.

Mander a former young professional player and coach for Stevenage FC took over as Director at AFA Marbella in 2005. At that time, AFA had 5 teams and approx 60 players.

Today, the club has 150 registered players, and 9 teams from age 6 to 19 playing for AFA Marbella. The club has an active scouting network to attract talent to the club, and have several relationships with European teams to ensure their players can make it as professional players.

“I’m looking forward to working with Craig and have known him for several years now as a player and coach,” Atlético Andalucía CF's Manager Mike Share said. “Craig will be a valued member of the club as well as be part of our 1st coaching staff.”

Share went on to say “It is great Craig is involved with the club as I am sure he will play a huge part in the success off and on the field. His experience in Spanish football from the day to day running of the club will be a huge asset”.

Mander echoed Mike Share's sentiments is convinced that working with Atlético Andalucía CF senior professional team, and the creation of a full time centre of excellence is critical in the development of football in Andalucia and something that the community can really get behind.
