Atlético Suffer Biggest Defeat This Season Against Balazo Alozaina

6th November, 2010.

Atlético Andalucía CF kicked off their fourth home game of 2010-11 campaign, the club faced a strong CD Balazo Alozaina team which ended third last season.

For the third game in a row Atlético Andalucía CF only had 12 fully fit players available for the game as both Cristobal and Elias pulled out of the squad a hour prior to kick off. The game could not have started any worse with forward Ismael getting injured in the first three minutes. This forced Share to use his only sub Daniel Leoches.

Things got even worst 5 minutes later when the linesman failed to flag offside which enabled Alozaina forward Perez to slot the ball home when one on one with Moreno.

The away team soon doubled the lead when a threw ball found Perez again who coolly slotted the ball past Moreno. Atletico's best chance in the first half came when a cross fell perfectly for Becerra who would volley just over the bar unchallenged.

Alozaina continued to have more possession and when a quick corner was played short, Perez shifted the ball past Garcia and from the edge of the box the forward curled the ball past Moreno to complete his hat-trick. The first half would end 3-0 to Alozaina.

In the second half Atlético Andalucía changed their formation to 3-5-1 and for the first 10 minutes it settled the side which enabled the home side to have more possession for the first time in the game. A bad ball given away in the midfield gave the away team the opportunity to break away on the counter. Alozaina would take full advantage with a well worked ball on the edge of the box would find Munoz who finish the move from 15 yards to make the score 4-0. With several of Atletico Andalucia's players dropping their heads it was clear to see that it would not be the last goal of the game.

Things would get from bad to worse when in a short span Alozaina would add another two goals in quick secession with Perez getting his fourth of the game and Dominguez getting on the score sheet.

With five minutes left Atletico Andalucia CF misery would continue when Pistola skipped past two players in the box and placed the ball in right bottom hand corner to make the score a embarrassing 7-0 loss.

Coach Share said "What can you say after a preformance that we have just witnessed, I am disgusted with the team, there was no work rate, desire and will to not just compete but to win. All I can do is apologize, I am hurting and just as shocked as anyone else is. I can't believe what I witnessed this Saturday and it just makes you think".

The club will face San Miguel this coming Sunday at home with a 5pm Kickoff.
