Atlético Decides Not To Complete The Signing Of Daniel Waymont23 May, 2010
Atlético Andalucía CF have announced that the club have decided against the signing of Daniel Waymont. The club was expecting Waymont to sign in the American closed season on undisclosed terms.

Daniel Waymont a native from England played under Mike Share at Buffalo City FC last season. This season Waymont signed for FC Atlanta Blackhawks from the United Soccer Leagues as preparation for the Spanish season.

Atlético Andalucía CF´s head coach Share set certain goals for Waymont to achieve and after much consideration Share decided against the signing of his former player.

Share said "I have decided to not complete the signing of Daniel. I made this decision because of the best interest of the club. Daniel knew what was expected of him but sadly could not take his chances as his form has recently dipped. It is vital for players to be consistent and I feel that we already have three more suitable forwards".

Waymont has faintly participated in Atlanta´s four games. Playing 26 minutes and scoring one goal in the first two games. With no improvement in recent games has led to Share´s decision not to sign the forward.

Share added "I know it is not the decision Daniel had hoped for but football is about opinions and in my opinion Waymont would not add to the quality of the team. I wish Daniel all the best in his career".
