Atlético Andalucía CF Sign Buffalo's Top Scorer Daniel Waymont 13 November, 2009

Atlético Andalucía CF is pleased to announce that the club have signed Daniel Waymont on undisclosed terms from American team Buffalo City FC pending International Clearance.

Daniel Waymont a native from England is Mike Share's first signing and he follows Share from Buffalo City to Spain with an impressive record.

Last season Waymont was a versatile player for Mike Share's previous club Buffalo City FC from America. Waymont played a big part in the Buffalo team who ended second in the Keystone Conference from the National Premier Soccer League. Daniel can play either as a Forward or Attacking Midfielder and was Buffalo's top scorer last season.

Share spoke highly of his new signing from his old club "I am pleased to have signed Daniel. We obviously know each other very well having played and worked together last year in America. I have very high hopes for Dan as I believe he can progress and play even at a higher level as he is a very prolific player ".

Share added "Although the game is growing in America I think with Dan coming to Europe it shows that he is ready to make the correct steps to move forward and to achieve his dream of playing at the highest level possible. Dan will be a very important part of our team and I expect him to be one of top scorers in the league".

Daniel Waymont Career Profile:

2001: Waymont played for North Buncombe HighSchool in Weaverville, North Carolina, scoring 82 goals in 52 games. Waymonth was named all conference, all region, and all state as a senior.

Waymont then went onto play for Mars HillCollege, a NCAA Div. 2 School competing in the South Atlantic Conference, a 4 year starter, 2 year captain scoring 38 goals and adding 12 assists in 69 games earned Waymont 12th in conference history for career goals scored.

Waymont was an all conference selection in his sophomore, junior, and senior year. He was also selected to ESPN the Magazine All district First team for junior and senior seasons and named the South Atlantic Conference Scholar athlete for three consecutive years.
